A 12-week transformational journey toward meaning, guided by Coach David Ferrers
You may recall that at the end of July, I mentioned I would be quiet for a while to think about how to write a book to help people tackle their fears. Well, my thinking has evolved. I asked myself a question (I am a coach after all), “What is the purpose of learning to manage our fears?” My answer was, “To free ourselves from our inhibitions so we can express who we are and lead a fuller, more meaningful life, happy in our own skins.”
As a result, I have decided to coach a small group of people to help them overcome the fears that prevent them from living the way they’d love to live.
The aims of the group are identified in the article below, and anyone can apply. Once the group sessions have been completed, I will have some real-life examples of how people have overcome the fears that have been preventing them from living the lives they want to live. These “case studies” will be the core of the book. I believe that this approach will make the stories in the book authentic, thereby offering a real benefit to all who read it.

That’s the question I want to explore with a small group of people ready for a different kind of adventure. Not a retreat. Not a course. Not a hustle. A journey.
🛤 What The Journey Is
The Journey is a 12-week, small-group experience for people who want to live with more meaning, not more noise.
Each week, we’ll meet on a video call as a group of four very different individuals (plus me, your guide and coach). You might be in your 30s, 40s, or 50s. You might be working a job that pays the bills but drains your soul. You might have achieved a lot and still feel… restless. Or stuck. Or vaguely haunted by the question, “Is this it?”
Together, we’ll explore:
What you really want your life to be about
What’s been getting in the way
How you operate yourself as a human being, and how to operate better
How to use what you already have to create a life that feels worthwhile
This isn’t therapy. It’s not personal development in a shiny wrapper. And it’s definitely not about chasing more money, status, likes.
It’s about coming home to who you are.
And deciding, from that place, how you want to live.

I’m looking for four people to work as a group, all different in background, job, education, and experience, but united by a hunger to live more meaningful lives.
You must be in your 30s, 40s, or 50s
You’re open, curious, and willing to explore discomfort
You’re ready to support others as they support you
You’re prepared to commit to turning up to all the sessions
You’re not looking for easy answers, you’re looking for real ones
It’s free. You won’t pay a penny. Your payment is your attention, your honesty, and your commitment.
If enough people apply, there may be more than one group, in different time zones: such as Europe, North America, Australasia, and Asia.
As we walk this path together, I’ll be writing a new book, based on the lived experience of the travellers on this journey. (All names will be changed and confidentiality respected.)
